 Ok all the "interesting" suggestions aside. I suggest a good spanking followed by a grounding. I don't know how you feel about spanking your child and sixteen is a little old, but, she not only broke your rules, she violated the law with underage drinking. She was very immature and should be treated as such. The spanking is a good immediate punishment that will get her attention and then the grounding will allow her to really think about what she has done. Because the next time she gets caught underage drinking, she could wind up in juvi instead of being punished by you. So my suggestion is spank her bare little butt then ground her for a couple of weeks
