I hadn't been spanked since I was 15 and truly believed that those days were over for me. Mom thought so too and had said so as I got closer to graduating from high school. Unfortunately, when I came home from college at Christmas break, I was a little full of myself and my newfound independence. Mom put up with my attitude until she could stand it no more and then sent me to my room. At 19 years old! It only got worse when she joined me with the familiar wooden hairbrush in her hand. She informed me that I might be technically an adult, but I was still her child and that is how she would deal with me. I truly was dependent on mom and dad and complied when she instructed me to lower my pants and patted her lap. I had younger brothers and sisters at home at the time and they knew what happened. Mom did all of the spanking, always bare, no exceptions. Dad didn't spank or watch as he felt it not appropriate to see us with our pants down. Anyway, back to the question. I really don't recall reaching back to try to cover. It would have been futile anyway. Some spankings were longer or more intense than others, a lot depended on the situation. If it was for something I already had been spanked for, then the spanking would have been longer and harder. As far as that hairbrush goes, I think mom still has it. I vividly remember my last spanking, it was about 4-5 months before my 19th birthday. It was the only time I was spanked after turning 18. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

Erin mentions an attitude and being full of herself and her newfound independence. From a distance one is inclined to think her mom should have been a bit more patient. As apparently her mom was with all of the siblings when they returned from post-hs time away. Do you think you really would obey a Go to your room and prepare to be spanked order while regarding it as "psycho"? How long would you comply? For a couple of symbolic spanks only to show respect?
