There needs to be mutual respect, but if I was getting into a thing like this, it would have to be 100% real. No games, just real authority and real discipline. No matter my age, there is no adult status. That is how attitudes are adjusted and behavior is modified. Otherwise it's playtime not discipline.

I think that your mom, Alfred and Eric all gave you sound advice. IMHO, if you don't take this opportunity, you will regret it for the rest of your life. It's what you've always wished for and yes, reality is going to be a lot different than fantasy. From all of your posts that I've read, I truly feel that you will benefit greatly by living with your professor. It's about time that you had some structure in your life and suffer the consequences of your actions (or inactions).
