She spanked with her hand too but when I got older it was mostly the hairbrush. The thighs hurt the worst. I was always crying and at the point when mom finally stopped I was not fighting it anymore but was rather hanging limp over her lap. My bottom was always very deep red, often with white marks from the brush, burning up, glowing and a bit swollen, especially the lower parts that people here call sit spots. I was sore for 2-3 days too, it was a constant reminder. Sounds all way too similar. And you said your girls get spanked longer when they got older? How much longer? or is it just longer because it takes longer until they stop fighting it? That is from the firsthand swat to the last paddle swat. It seems the older they got the longer they fought the spanking. I had a tight hold on them, so they were not going nowhere. FYI, my 18 yr. old daughter was spanked this morning for missing curfew last night and having her phone turned off. She will be spending the entire day in her room with no phone or laptop. I really don't know but from my gut feeling I guess my spankings were even longer, maybe 5 mins, but mom paused in between and scolded. She was holding me tightly too when I got older.
