I'm going into 8th grade and my mom still spanks me. Is that wierd? I don't care tbh I just don't want anybody to know. Really id rather get it over with but if anybody found out I get spanked what would they think.

I know other kids will tease you if they find out. But you are not alone by any means, and the ones who tease the most are the ones who are also still spanked. Good luck! I am now 23 and still live at home and my mom still spanks me on occasion, so no, you're not the oldest kid who gets spanked. I'll bet a lot of your friends feel exactly the same way you do. After not spanking for five years, mine restarted when I was your age. One of the hardest things was I thought I was the only kid my age who was still spanked. I was lucky in getting in a group of us about my age who were still spanked. Talking with them I was able to develop strategies, and improvements so that my spankings ended before I was fifteen.

I was very lucky in finding that group, but even without it rest assured others your age are spanked. I saw a poll that about a third of thirteen year olds are spanked.

Concentrate on improving your behavior so your mom will not find it necessary to give this type of punishment.

I and some other rather dimwitted boys got in trouble in 8th grade home room. We were lectured on why stupid x-rated limericks were not a good idea to share with a girl classmate. We were all told that the teacher was going to spare us the paddling she was going to request of our parents if we ever did it AGAIN.

She was 100% sure that the note she would send home would guarantee a spanking. What you have to be willing to do when you request an end to your spankings is to accept the alternative punishment AND make sure that whatever gets substituted for spanking "works." That is the hard part about demanding an end to spankings.
