After not spanking for five years, mine restarted when I was your age. One of the hardest things was I thought I was the only kid my age who was still spanked. I was lucky in getting in a group of us about my age who were still spanked. Talking with them I was able to develop strategies, and improvements so that my spankings ended before I was fifteen.
I was very lucky in finding that group, but even without it rest assured others your age are spanked. I saw a poll that about a third of thirteen year olds are spanked.
Concentrate on improving your behavior so your mom will not find it necessary to give this type of punishment.
