Shelby sounds like a very wonderful, loving person who cares very much about you and has your best interest in mind. You, Emmie Sue directly disobeyed by taking down things that she personally hung on the walls of her home that she pays for and the spanking she gave you was deserved.
That being said, Shelby is very young and a bit of a novice at this and it shows. You have said that she gets off on humiliation and you seem to get off maybe just a little when she humiliates you. However, she needs to understand that this is not part of your agreement and that you are a free human being with feelings and not her toy. I'm sure that her goal was to show you that she is in control and the objects on the wall are there as a reminder of that and the consequences if you should break the rules. That in itself is not a bad thing, but being in control has it's limits. Not a whole lot different than a teacher conducting a classroom of lively students.
You shouldn't be put in a situation where visitors who are not familiar with your arrangement are forced to wonder and even ask questions. Your lifestyle with Shelby is your business and no one else's and you nor Shelby nor unaware visitors should be forced to raise or ask questions.
I'm sure Shelby has the best intentions, but speaking from experience she is going about it the wrong way in this instance or is taking liberties with her position. From what you've said about her she sounds like a reasonable, caring person and I would suggest you gently bring up this discussion in a quiet, confident tone.
