Maybe they do like it and just don't say.
When I see in real life or You Tube videos and whatever about girls getting a slap on the butt or a birthday spanking they act so dramatic about it like it's the worst pain they've ever experienced.

What I was getting at was more about the storyline than the physical reaction to the spanking. Whatever the reason for it, the spanking was always somehow accepted. I would love to see a play that revolves around a spanking, the aftermath, and possible its eventual conclusion in court. I wish I was literally-minded. The whole Helston story would make a great TV play. It seems that in real life the outcome is usually similar. Has anyone here ever considered taking action against a parent or teacher because a spanking was too hard or plain out of order these days? Some of the punishments (probably fictitious) described here would surely be considered abuse in any court of law.
