The so-called principal was an older gentleman who was experienced on both sides of the paddle. He had an authentic school paddle and knew how to use it! [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

School paddling was very common in the schools I attended. In high school, 6 to 8 swats was customary. After a trip to the principal's office, we went back to class with hot, sore bottoms, and red, teary eyes. Then, at the end of the day, we had to go home with a note from the principal...
