In reply to: Aunt Nat 's message, "Considering An Enema" on 06:52:35 08/05/25 Tue

I have given Shanna a few enemas. It wasn't as much fun for me as I thought it might be, although it does have it's charms and I'm sure it wasn't fun for Shanna.

I first brought it up late last September. Shanna has a tendency to do unhealthy things, which is something we're working on. During a post spanking/cuddling lecture I told her the next time it happens I was going to give her an enema. I expected her to say "Yeah, FU lady." at which point I would have just given up that idea. Instead she sheepishly just nodded her head which I took as an agreement.
The occasion came not long after. The whole thing for me felt very strange, but I will say it felt very intimate and it seemed, at least temporarily to be effective.

Aunt Nat: "at least temporarily to be effective."

As effective as a spanking?

I believe that enemas wash out critical elements of the body's biome population. While there may be some health benefits, clearly there are some serious negative effects.

The biome is the entities that digest the food we eat. Losing a well-developed biome is rarely good for one and if the diet has been trying to include probiotics, then the benefits of those probiotics will be lost.

For medical reasons that others, especially Brenda and others with nursing backgrounds, can better address, there are purely medical indications for giving an enema. Constipation, the common reason given in the forties and fifties by parents, is rarely medically indicated. Except for colonoscopy and other g.i. surgery.

Administering plain warm water or Castile soap enemas is not harmful, even if done periodically, like weekly. I have heard that from seasoned nurses and docs as well. Some are also against their use. A probiotic can be taken if the loss of good bacteria and flora is a concern. The disposable chemical enemas are not good except for occasional constipation relief.

They were popular decades back and I recall seeing bags hanging in bathrooms of friend's homes several times. Nobody made a big deal out of it. Nobody claimed abuse or suffered from a messed-up biome. Some were used only for constipation, other moms found any reason to give one.

Based on my experience, their occasional use can also help adjust a young adult lady's nasty attitude and and help alter bad eating habits. They may certainly not be for everyone, however, and that's okay. Geez... they

I don't think an occasional enema is harmful, the importance of the biome notwithstanding.

There are purely medical indications for enemas, but what is considered medically necessary has changed dramatically over the past 50 years.

Yes, that has changed. The indications have lessened in number I believe. There are alternatives. But you can't beat the effectiveness though and the simplicity.

The inability to tighten the anal sphincter muscles and thereby slow the flow of the incoming enema is quite humbling. One is going to be filled depending on the person controlling the rate of in-flow. It is not really in the recipient's control. The only hope the recipient has is to somehow be disconnected.
