I go to college. I'm right there with them. I see it constantly, privileged, spoiled, self centered brats with no regard of how their actions affect others with absolutely no accountability. I seen promising minds throw away their career and scholarships with one stupid impulse. If they had had the option of the paddle searing their rears they would have a second chance. If they were assured that their butts would be humiliatingly paddled they might not make the mistakes they do or might think about their actions before the emotionally scar someone. A few good blistering swats with a paddle might instill some respect and empathy for others. I get it, you're just a pervert proving these boards looking for someone vulnerable to satisfy your fantasies, but you met someone honest who wont back down and not afraid to tell it to you like it is. It wasn't as much about actions affecting others, but hedonistic, self-destructive behavior. It was wasting time and parent's money on what would never amount to anything academically successful. Acting like spoiled, self-centered children without guidance, for some "students," college was a big never-ending party that is in many ways encouraged throughout our culture. I sound maybe too judgmental, but I was in some ways guilty of this immature behavior myself. I see it as some form of arrested development. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

Definitely not public and most likely not private as well. However, many who are in college and living at home or with an authority figure are still spanked or it's on the table. It happens in various ways. Paddling is the least of it. I have walked past sororities, and I swear I have heard "smack. ow. smack. ow."etc. And I've heard whispers and I've seen girls sit in class knowing first hand what the signs are. Parents may ask instructors to report back to them as needed if their kid is not doing the work or even just between professor and student. In the broader sense it seems ridiculous but truth is always stranger than fiction so it's possible some spanking does go on within limited and private contexts. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

But I've known people whose parents knew their grades before they did. (just between you and me I've wondered, very vividly I might add) if they got spanked for their grades.
