I'm sure your mom, growing up, and especially looking back now, felt and feels the strap was good for her and when she thinks you need it wants you to feel the strap for your own good. Hard when you're getting it to think that way though. I'm sure it's also hard for your mom to ask your dad to strap you and to be with you when you're getting it. All very unpleasant. Was the strap applied to your mom by her mom, or her dad? Perhaps both? I wonder if she got it up on a table the way you do and that's where the idea of doing you on your dad's table came from? It's very emotional for mom watching dad put the strap across my bare especially if she was the one to order it. I know both mom and dad feel it's for my own good and well, I agree. That's easy now, not so much when I'm naked on the table. The table was dad's idea. As a teen, mom got it in her room on her bed. We started out that way but laying on the bed you tend to sink in so dad decided to use his antique table in his home office. I have ran across relatively few who's parents have them lay on a table. Using a firm surface though does make sense. Do you know if she was on a bed, or perhaps bend, or over the back of a chair? I'm sure it must be very emotional for your mom to see your dad giving you the strap on your bottom. It would remind her of her own growing up. She'd know how awful it was for you. As she has chosen to have your dad strap you it must be that she feels her own strappings were a positive thing for her and as she watches your dad with his strap she'll be praying it also helps you.
