Subject: New Smoke City - Volume 142 RELEASED!

Bit early, but better than being late.

New Smoke City - Volume 142

There's actually a tonne of stuff missing from this volume, several short but connected works from Ella B., which gets a bit spicy, but I'll have to wrangle it all at some point. Individually there's probably enough to fill several volumes, and I don't think she's done yet, so we'll see.

Also, there's Azilwen's work, the Val series, well-written as always, but not to my personal taste. And as I commented at the top of the first story, it may not be for everyone. I figure it's an exploration, at least in this space, so I'm allowing it. If it becomes a trend, I'll start ignoring it. Because we've all seen how this goes. Someone pushes a boundary, then it gets pushed further and further until it is downright degenerate. I want to avoid that.

Then there is Alphasmoker's story, which is completely the opposite, where all the spicy bits are alluded to, but not described, this is what smoking fetish fiction should be, the sex is in the smoking. And there's likely to be a sequel. Seems to be a first effort as far as I'm aware, so yay. We'll see where it goes.

I need to give my keyboard a good clean. Most of the keys are spotless on the top, but the keys I use infrequently, or not at all are a bit grubby. I'll take 'em off and put 'em through the wash. I've seen people just throw their keyboards in the dishwasher and they come out nice and clean, and still work (allegedly), but I'm going to take a bit more care with this one, it's outlived four machines, a G4, two G5s, and is currently taking up a USB port on my 2013 Mac Pro, well over a decade of use, I do a lot of typing, and when I had time, gaming, and is still going strong, the R key repeats occasionally, but that's okay, the delete (backspace) key works just fine. I'd like a nice keyboard with actual mechanical keyswitches, but given how those things are priced, and the quality of components used in some of them, I reckon I'll stick with what I've got. I used to have an IBM Model M keyboard, which I stupidly loaned to a mate when his keyboard died, never got it back, I think he tossed it when he upgraded. Between that and the many tools and USB sticks I've loaned people and never seen again…Humans can be scumbags that way.

That doesn't have anything to do with anything, I just felt like typing. Sorry.

I need Tea.

Enjoy the reads, and please give the authors some feedback, they'd appreciate it

Nick
