Absolutely understand the Val series not being to everyone's taste. I'm not sure when or if I'll do more with it since right now my focus is on finishing the Smoke Weaver project but if I do I would say the chance of it devolving into fetishizing the non smoking aspects would be low. Although I do think the characters and setting could all be explored more with out crossing the line.

I did kind of get started in writing with lowest grade of slash fiction though and I'll possibly reach those lows from time. But in relation to Val going further in that direction would be a disservice to the character and myself.
