It would seem that they really want someone who is very involved with activities at the University, someone who would really promote the University. It’s like they want it too much, and it makes them shaky. Those who don’t expect to win can fly under the radar, give an authentic, no stakes interview and performance, and sometimes edge out the heavy hitters. Melissa will do fine as UA. She is a talented, solid performer and cute girl. I kind of get the vibe that pageants are a means to the career for her more than anything else. I don’t blame her for that. She’s not really on brand as the typical Miss AL winner, but I have no doubt she will continue to make the cut as long as she competes, and deservedly so. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
