Torch nodded, looking at her hooves and barely noticing as he came a step closer. However, when he spoke, she looked up.
So, now I'm lady Torch? she mused. No one's given me a respectful title before. Well, at least I know he's a wanderer too.
To him, she sighed. "I guess. It's just such a pitiful existence..."
She trailed off as he began to shift again. Her silver eyes never widened or showed any emotion as he went through the changes, almost as if it was normal to interrupt a conversation to grow a horse-like half. (Which, of course, it wasn't, even back on her planet!)
"Is there anything else I should expect to see as you Shift?" she asked, giving the smallest of half-smiles. "It's a bit worrying."
