I know this happened awhile back now, but I wanted to give my support in the spanking you gave to Lucas. It was so well needed and deserved. This is something I had to deal with many times with my son while he was growing up along with my nephews. And in more current years, with Andy (since I began to babysit him) as well as with my grandson.

With my girls, they earned their share of spankings of not doing chores, but not keeping their room clean, especially in leaving food or dirty clothes on the floor. Both of which has always been immediate spankings in my home, particularly leaving food. I think it's definitely more a boy thing.
