I'll agree with Cherie on boys and shopping. Particularly, back to school shopping my son used to have a grouch on that school was about to restart, then he'd be upset about how long the shopping trip took, he'd basically whine and complain his way into spankings.

I recall one where I pulled the car over on the way home. Daughter and her friend could hardly contain themselves and the begging and pleading from him plllease mom no, not now.

Too late I gave him several chances he chose the embarrassment and pain of a bare bottom spanking.
