That was cute how Lucas just out of the blue wanted to have that conversation with you, but that is how it can go with kids, they just come up with things they want to talk about.

There have been quite a few spankings here over the years that have been talked about and remembered, some years later by me and the boys, we have had some conversation here about past spankings. Some time ago when they were younger my boys along with Zach, Mason and Tommy had conversations while sitting around talking about past spankings that I have given them, this happened a few times.

I remember the first time I heard them, it was during one of our campout sleepovers, the older boys were 12, we were all sitting on the back porch. I don’t remember how it came up but they got onto the subject of spankings from me, maybe I had recently spanked one or more of them, they got to talking of the ‘worst spankings ever’ things they did to get a spanking, ones they will never forget, I do believe it was a badge of honor time with 10 and 12 year olds, they all agreed my spankings were the worst ever, how horrible they are and they hate them (as they should) and have told me many times I have to be the best spanker ever. Bobby brought up he loves the cuddling after, they all agreed.

They have over the years since this had these same conversations and they remembered some spankings I had forgot. I know it was as I said partly a badge of honor thing with them but they also reveled some of the things they did to get spanked sitting around reminiscing.

About being grounded, As painful as my spankings are, my boys would rather be spanked than being grounded or having things, video games, allowance, car keys taken away, but even if they didn’t I would spank them any way.
