Karen, dear ladies
We talk about spanking, and as Mary stated, they prefer a spanking.
Last time we talked was when I had to spank my two for fighting. It is a common cause for spankings and in these circumstances the fight ends up with two red bottoms and two teens standing each in a corner of the living room.
First, I asked "And now what I do have to do with you" while holding them by the ear, one on each hand, because that was the only way I find to separate them.
This time, instead of go directly to the spanking protocol, after a brief scolding while ear pulling, I had them to seat and asked what was the punishment they propose. These fights must stop, I stated. You can choose between being grounded for three days or a good spanking right now. They didn't take more than a second in answering at a time: No momy please, don't ground us. I smiled "ok then, what must do you do?" My daughter answered: going to the corner. No, you must apologize to each other.
After corner time, I spanked my 13 yo dougther firmly, sent her to the corner and proceeded with my 11 yo boy.
