Implementwise I only hand spank my boys(9 and 11) - even when they do someting really bad. Spankings are just harder and longer a little bit. I also employ naked cornertimes and - if their behaviour was extremely bad - they are forbidden to get dressed. They have to remain naked for the rest of the day. Even when they're having friends over.

However I think about introducing an another implement because they maybe getting too old for just hand spanking. My sister in law recently started using a long plastic shoehorn on my nephews(12 nad 14) and the results are promising. I have a similar shoehorn model at home and I think about giving it a shot.
