 I was minded to start this new thread because of a comment by Eliza in a response to my 'What is it with hairbrushes?' thread. She said that my son (now 16) should be wearing briefs, and not boxers. Why do some mothers insist on older sons having to wear briefs? Interestingly, my wife has said she'd rather they wore briefs, but has not forced the issue. However, if the teenage sons are not out shopping with her, she will buy them replacement briefs. Some moaning about that - 'I'm not a kid anymore, Mum!' sort of comments.

As most of the mothers posting here give bare bottom spankings, the choice of underpants for older sons seems somewhat academic to me, as they are taken down or off. Surely by, say 13yo, your son should be allowed to choose briefs or boxers for himself?
