I try to give at least two paddle licks to the back of the thighs one on each thigh yes it makes the cry more but the big difference is after the Laing is gone they have to sit down carefully and even so have a twing of pain sometimes I give more licks to the thighs depending on what I hope to correct as far as behavior or attitude getting paddled is not fun nor should it be it is punishment
