I didn't raise my knee, so Jack went across my lap rather than my knee. I didn't have to tell him what to do when it was spanking time: if he was reluctant to go over my lap, I would take him by his hands and say: "Come on, over you go."

If I gave him a warning, then I tended to discuss the part of him would be spanked and what condition it would be in before the spanking began. The word "bare" featured prominently.

Thinking about it, if Jack was in the mood for a play spanking, I would react to something cheeky he said with "Jack Whiteley! I'm going to put you over my knee and give you such a spanking". This would usually leave him helpless with giggles. Boys are funny animals!
