My daughter was the same way when she was spanked at 18 with me sitting on the couch, her brothers were in their rooms but heard everything, luckily for her her father didn't come home until all was said and done.

The element of embarrassment is hugely important to an effective spanking, and as they get older it is for the boy or girl to be standing there before his mother as she bares them then we lay them over our lap and spank them, making them cry and struggle as they did at 10, the experience becomes truly embarrassing and memorable for them and us.

My 13 and 16 year old boys are also so embarrassed every time I bare and spank them.
