To answer your question, oh yes, I most certainly became "Mommy" to him again when I spanked him in his late teens. Every single time. But that has been the case with any child I have spanked in their late teens, including Andy and Derek now. As Cherie has said so accurately with her boys in they have gone through the "spanking time machine". Or that regression, as you had indicated. Every child I have spanked, including their late teens, has gone through it. Which I feel is just another factor in letting me know the spanking is working exactly as intended.

Jason in his late teens really did try to not to cry, especially if he earned a spanking where others could hear or even more so if he earned a public spanking. But he always broke down and regressed, including wailing "MOOOOOOMMMMMYYYYY!!!!" (often) 'well' before I was done spanking.

Where I continued a firm visage and scolded just as firmly as I continued to spank, I always smiled inside when becoming 'Mommy' again. I loved becoming Mommy again for my children when they were older, especially with Jason. Them becoming my little boy/girl again, if only for a short amount of time. They just grow up too fast.
