Thank you Stephanie, I appreciate your kind words.

This is no reflection on intelligence, but what I believe is a good demostration of one of the primary differences between girls and boys.

As I have been discussing, my daughter Eliza has been informed that henceforth, she will be spanked just exactly as her brothers always have been for misbehavior, as her father and I decided to switch from alternative punishments for her, to spanking as her brothers are subject to, in the name of equality. Since being informed, she has been incredibly well behaved, although I believe she is getting very close to being introduced to "The World of Spanking," firsthand.

The point I want to make, is that Eliza is being very cautious, knowing a spanking will be the consequence for her next - and all future - misbehaviors. Both my boys OTOH, seemingly travel headfirst into the arena of a "spanking violation" without even thinking about the line they are crossing, as though it is the furthest thing on their mind. However, when I (or their dad) announce that a spanking is due, it's as though suddenly a light comes on, like they have just awakened from a coma they had been in, as the realization suddenly hits them that they have inadvertently traveled down the path all the way to a spanking. Again, I'm not suggesting that girls are inherently more intelligent than boys, it's just that boys don't seem to engage their brains as much when they are too focused on "doing boy things," usually something rambunctious, sometimes something dangerous.
