The one thing that I agree 100% with Sarah is to begin spanking at a very early age just like your son and son-in-law are doing because as the kids get older, they understand those are the consequences. They must suffer for misbehavior and they are not fighting and struggling to not get spanked. I think that the way you raised your three girls and son have showed them the importance of discipline in raising children, and they are using the same examples that they fell under when they were growing up. Your son got his last spanking at age 19 I believe but when he was 14, 15, 16, he was over your lap frequently not only him but his friends that frequented the house as it seems your house is like mine a magnet for everybody to come to to have fun.
