I can certainly relate. When my children were growing up, there were a number of times over the years where I had to spank during birthday parties. Not only with my children, but also with other children when I would sometimes help chaperone parties, as well. Like you, there were times I spanked my nieces and nephews at birthday parties (their own or friends parties). But also even friends of my children, as well, when I had spanking permission.

What is it about teen boys needing spankings during their birthday parties? Those spankings for Aaron and Steven were well deserved, and I am sure were very embarrassing for them, especially administering the spankings in front of the entire family and guests.

But as you know, I gave Andy a very similar spanking, as you did Aaron, a couple of years ago during his 16th birthday party. It was also administered in the living room in front of everyone at the party. I also gave a similar spanking to my son during his birthday party when he turned 14, once again in the living room in front of all the guests for once again due to his attitude and being rude to everyone.

Jennifer did similar to myself in starting with the hairbrush with Kathy (12) as I did with her and her siblings. And that was I began to use it for their more serious misbehavior when they got a ways into 7 (maybe 6 months or so) and then started to slowly use it more often the closer they got to 8 until it was used for all of their spankings by the time they were 8 yrs old. Or, I began to use it all the time if their behavior started to 'need' it earlier. Like with my son, I think he began receiving the hairbrush for all of his spankings when he was a couple months shy of 8.

So I think Jennifer will likely do the same with AJ, and wait and see when he needs it. But at the very latest, it will be within the next year.
