Our oldest Aaron is sort of like your daughter. Aaron stopped wanting to cuddle after being spanked around 14, I would give him a hug and say something to him but that was it he preferred alone time and wasn't much the shadow after being spanked ever even when young.

Steven still on occasion has been my shadow and wants to be around me and talkative after a spanking, he did this after his most recent spanking in February and has always been like your boys with their mom after I have spanked him, "doting, surprisingly obedient, and being helping with the household chores uncomplainingly. Putty in my hands :)
