I don't, as a rule, approve of a parent losing control and spanking a child in a hysterical and enraged state of mind. However, I can really appreciate just how scared you were with this potential drowning incident involving the two naughty boys. It would be wrong to be over critical of the spankings you dished out as none of us know how we would react if this happened t our kids. My heart goes out to you, it really does.

Therefore for me, deserved spankings for both boys, even if their bare bottoms were tanned by you in public. It was touching and decent of your neighbour - the other boy's mother - to be so supportive of you and the spanking given to her son.

The more formal and traditional bare bottomed spanking from his Dad that evening was, I think, exactly what was needed for your son. The threat of a leathering for the young man if this happened again would have brought it home to the boy just how seriously his parents took this matter.
