A splendido idea for a talking point. My Joseph has always been close to me after his dance and cuddles and I have washed his face he will be quite for a little while then turns into a talking machine and still as a teen just like what Mary said he will "still be in a little boy mode wanting to stay near me". Before bed once in his pjs or nightshirt I give his bottom a look and a rub and we hug and he is off to bed I think this also helps with the bonding and closeness.

When I have spanked him for bedtime issues, the next morning I check his bottom when he is up and then I lift his nightshirt, he will ask "how does it look back there" and I will tell him "you'll live" and he giggles and I will give it a rub.

I also agree with what Mary said “To me, my belief on a "hand-spanking" I've always thought the skin-to-skin contact really makes the spanking more of a nurturing experience, a bonding time.“
