I think even if you have to spank repeatedly for the same reason, that doesn't mean a spanking isn't worth anything.
As we know some children are stubborn and rebellious or others learn very quickly and know the consequences and don't do some things once they have been spanked.
But a proper spanking is effective and I firmly believe that it has a benefit and is good for the kids when they get a good spanking. A red sore bottom works.
