My mother kept her left foot back a bit & her right one flat on the floor, legs slightly spread. She would kind of lift me off the floor, sit down and lay me across her lap all in one motion. She would hold my right wrist in her left hand with her forearm locked across my back. My bottom would be up slightly with my feet off the floor. I was not going anywhere even as a teen ager. She still outweighed me by about 30 pounds when I was 18. She could paddle my bottom as long & as hard as she wanted. I quit resisting her when I was about 14 as it was too embarrassing to be spanked against my will. It was bad enough to have to cry out loud and uncontrollably as it was.
