Hi Kelly,
My children are not really thrilled about being spanked. They certainly don't like it when their bottoms are on fire, and it's very uncomfortable to sit on a sore bottom. But they also don't like being grounded or having their tablet or phone taken away. Apart from the fact that they learn nothing from being grounded, a spanking is good and effective.
The bottom heals very quickly and life goes on. A spanking is the best recipe.
