Well done, Diane!

When I was in school many years ago, paddlings - especially for boys - were very common. Back then, the school didn't make a record of it, parents were not notified, it was just done and over with and life went on.

Of the kids I knew, if you did get paddled at school, your behind was not done getting tanned, because IF the parents found out, you got it again, typically worse, at home.

I remember in 10th Grade a boy told our female English teacher - who had a reputation of a very hard paddler - that if he got paddled at school, he got it again at home. She told him, "Then you have good parents."
