"Somehow, I'm not trusting your answer, youngling. You don't have to be afraid to tell the truth here. Now, I can't say the exact some for some of my fellow weyrlings, but Hythe and me, we're cool with whatever the truth actually is."

"And Cometer," Hythe added in, one eyebrow cocked. She wound wool around her middle finger, and began another row of knitting.
"I forgot Cometer. Where is she?" Nerilki asked, momentarily getting off-topic.
"Concentrate!" Hythe scolded, and resumed her steady gaze fixed on Tath's face. She could tell he was quite uncomfortable- a glowbasket would be able to tell!- but she didn't know why.

Ith, could you talk to him again?

What Avianyth told you- the thing about him having secrets? Tell him that a secret is bad when it hides a hurt, or wound. Okay . . .
Ith scratched her shoulder with a hind foot, and concentrated again.

Tathan, secrets are destructive- especially when it hides a hurt or an abuse.
Avianyth broke in, the few maternal instincts greens had kicking in. And we can tell you have secrets. Even if you don't tell our riders, at least tell us. Ith and I can keep a secret, unless it's something that hasto, or needs to be told.

"Hythe, I think I've got it! 'Cringe when Grean entered the room'!" Nerilki was thinking hard, face contorted.
"What's that to do with it?" Hythe asked, clearly confused.
"Tath, were you abused in your camp? Is that why I saw you in the Hold medical stores, to treat your wounds?"

((Nerilki might be on to something . . . or she could just pressure Tath to leave the room. Please make him stay! I want to se how this turns out.
Ah, I will keep my eyes open for that. Red Dwarf, didn't yo send me part of the script? Something about in a past life, Rimmer was a general in Cesear's army, or something like that? I remember we got into a convesation about old-time harems, and the enuch guards.
I agree that Ever After is cool, but I have a very low romance tolerance- anything over a quick kiss, or a sentimental hug, and (A) I'm on the floor, rolling, (B) I'm laughing my head off, or (C) I scream at the TV set, usually how embarrassing it is. Meh, don't mind me. I tend to ramble.
