Mine is just seven. Barefoot by preference all summer, inside and out, including all the city roads and happily following along on extended city trips. During a recent walk in the dry and dusty city I got a cute remark from her after looking at the dark gray stains on her toepads, balls and heels standing out against the pale arches: "It's like makeup for the feet!"
That truly made me laugh! She loves to be clean, cute and pretty though and made sure to clean her feet once she got home.
