Ahh yes my daughter (14) is much like yours always cleaning and making her feet look pretty, she will tolerate getting dirty soles but always cleans them once we are home. As for my sons (12&9) I think they are in competition with each other to see who can walk over the most daring and roughest of surfaces and who can get the dirtiest feet!

They are all of an age to know what's best for them and if they do ever feel they want to wear shoes or socks then they know where they are. They hardly ever do!!
