Subject: Styles: Barefoot princess to party queen

My daughter is 12, soon 13, and on the way to her teen years trying out new things, redefining her image now and then. She's always been my cute barefoot princess but of course she's growing up so she recently got a shorter haircut and we bought a party outfit consisting of long tight black leather pants and a few colorful blouses to choose from (green and yellow, bold striking colors she likes). Certainly on the way to her own style, not just following fashions. She says bare feet are a part of her and I couldn't imagine her any other way. For special events (child/teen parties) she paints her toenails (most recently in a shimmering green), she loves spending time filing them to perfection, she's also wearing anklets for these events and making sure her soles are the right amounts of black as she goes out with her friends.
And she's still my cute princess no matter what she says, hehe.
