We shouldn't go too strictly by the calendar. In early/mid march we had mild weather that made it a pleasure to walk barefoot, I already felt the sunwarmed ground during an earlier walk. Currently it's frosty again so time for winter shoes once more. Though I haven't really seen any barefoot kids outside yet (I guess we'll have to wait until it gets really warm).
