We are all so happy when spring arrives, feeling the sunwarmed ground with our bare feet is an energizing experience! When the snow and ice is melting, my kids can't wait to play outside. And they are the first to introduce the barefoot season, their little toes are so eager to feel the world that becomes more and more pleasant with each spring day. Morning temperatures are still a little too cold to store all footwear away for the next months but that will come soon enough, long pants and jackets stay in use a little longer.
We don't go by the calendar but I have a feeling my kids are like spring flowers, knowing exactly when it's time. Inside the house we're all barefoot all year.
