Hi everyone. I guess at the age of 16 (soon 17) I'm still more or less a "barefoot child". I live in the city and I just love the feeling of walking barefoot even on the streets, hot or cold (when it's freezing even I have my limits). I found that I'm actually surprisingly resistant to heat, so even when the road feels hot my feet don't get damaged.
Shops, public transport and so on are no problem. So yes sometimes I'm barefoot for weeks/months. It gets easier the more I do it, great thing about feet, they get stronger with use (I'm sure someone has mentioned that here).
I just wonder why some people can stand wearing closed shoes all summer!
It seems like some of the parents here prefer wearing shoes even when their kids go barefoot. Personally I just can't imagine to start wearing shoes all the time at some age. If you ask me it's cool and ok for all ages.
