Thursday we spent another relaxing day at the lake, swimming and just having a good day together.
Friday was our last hike of this holiday, we chose a nice route mostly over meadows with some wooded sections, we all loved it and all three children's bare feet held up great!
So on Saturday morning we said goodbye to our friends and took the train back home. After all the activities it's nice to just sit down and watch the landscape outside.
Back home, all the children agree that not even taking any footwear along was a great idea, though some gravelly sections of the hikes were challenging. They already say they want to do another barefoot voyage during the autumn break. We will see, now it's still some time until school begins again.
