Today we used the nicer weather for another hike! All three children were full of energy for it, we saw a salamander, a squirrel, a hare, several chamois and an ibex, so it's really rich in wildlife here!
It was rewarding to our feet as well with leaves, mud, moss, grass and some flat rocks. Crossing a water stream was much easier to do barefoot and very exciting to all the children. We had a hearty meal at a little cottage near the summit and crossed another cow pasture on the way back down, meanwhile our kids consider themselves experts in alpine wildlife ...
A lovely form of activity and so many great impressions, these are just fantastic holidays, something for us all to remember for a long time!
