I was always lucky to go to school and kick off my sandals or shoes and be barefoot almost all day. Many times in the warmer weather I just simply went barefoot to school, church, anywhere. Now…..my girls are 8 and 10 following the same path that I walked. They hate shoes, I keep their toenails trimmed appropriately and nice looking.

They have had a few comments about it from both their peers and teachers. But nothing actually negative, more positive. Even have a couple of good conversations with their teachers about them being barefoot and never having a sickness.
