Anita, Oh this is super lovely and fabulous! I bet your children had a really great time playing in the soft fluffy snow in their bare feet and as you say as long as they are wrapped up warm and jeep themselves moving then their feet will be absolutely fine.

I do wonder what the people in town thought when they saw them barefoot in the snow.

No snow here though but we did have a thick frost on our morning walk yesterday and temps of -1C bit my two were still happy and managed the walk barefoot. They commented that the ground somehow felt harder and the once soft wet mud was hard and crisp. They liked how the once muddy trail felt "crispy" to walk on.

I just told them about your snow adventures today and they are both extremely jealous and cannot wait for snow to arrive here.
