You can probably admire this sight for another year or more: From the experience with my own children, the arches form at the age of three to four years. And if they're active they can keep rising, it probably depends on genetics too but all three of my children (aged 10 to 14) now have nicely formed arches so when we're in town and they show their soles there's a clean gap between the black pads and the dark oval of the heel.
And baby feet are amazingly flexible, I read that it takes more than ten years for all solid bones to form. Another good reason to keep them far away from shoes until then, whenever you can!
