In reply to: 's message, "Baylee is Miss Ohio River Volunteer. I hope she’s given up on Miss Ohio because this will not go over with SO. I don’t think Madelanah would compete in ss. If Autumn aged out of Miss Ohio then maybe but I think there are girls like her, Caitlin and Emily L that will only do Miss Ohio until they win or age out. They can do it in their sleep by now." on 15:50:44 08/01/23 Tue

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: It will be interesting if any locals happen after the new year. On the MO website it says they will have information on pay to play in January. Why would anyone do a local after that? I’m curious who of the regulars will go back to MO. I’m sure Emily L will as FRU. Not sure about Via or Caitlyn. Has Autumn aged out for the last time? I’d assume CT, Stephani and Ella will return. The stage will otherwise be filled with girls who would never in better years make it to that stage. It’s too bad that for every several vets that leave or age out only a couple of girls with promise join. Don’t we all wish we had the clappers and bus riders back?

I have a genuine question. Why is it looked down upon to compete in the Miss America Organization and then participate in the Miss Volunteer Pageant the following year, and then return to MAO especially when some MAO state directors, like Regina S and Pam R, actively recruit contestants and assist backstage at the Volunteer Pageant?

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: It's a problem with Oliveri-- look what he did to Jaelean Davis last year. He was the auditor at Clev and changed the order of the local crowns. The order of crowning has always denoted how they placed- Miss GClev being the top title, NOH, Spirit of Ohio, then the last title Charmea added, Miss Lake Erie. He didn't want Jaelean awarded with the top title, bc then it would be hard to explain how she was not in T5 at Miss Ohio. Can't have a former Miss Volunteer winning Miss Ohio! Charmea didn't know he did it until after it was over and was livid. She shared her concerns on a board for LEDs; it's somewhere in the archives.
