[> [> Subject: I absolutely LOVE this headshot of Autumn- and I've followed her forever. This one is feminine and shows personality. Her others were dark, stark- totally the wrong vibe. Now that I compare hers to the others, I like it best, along with Megan's. Love the uplight on her face.

The corruption of MAO has finally reached Clayland. As someone that attended, that pageant was a joke. I would be very interested in the interview results because I think some shady dealings were happening behind the scenes. You can blame a lot on a bad interview but seeing how the winner spoke on stage she should NOT have a place in the state competition. She is far out of her league. She had also better pray there are no trained dancers on the judging panel because there was no technique to be found. It was really embarrassing to watch. And a blonde hair, blue eyed girl doing a Diary of Anne Frank dance? In the year of our lord 2023? Do better. Oh also - she cannot be in Ohio State Law School as an undergrad. So she lied in her introduction. Is that something the judges are aware of? I would be interested in their response to that.

However this is not all her fault. I feel bad she is being set up to fail. There is no excuse for four rookie judges at a prelim like Clayland. Through this set up Steven got exactly what he wanted - a yes woman for the next year. I was told the contestants were excited to all be on the same playing field. After seeing these results I can firmly say that was never the case.

First and foremost I was at that pageant and she did well. Her talent could’ve been better yes, but considering (after researching her) she placed top 15 out of like 50 girls at Miss North Carolina in June I would say she’s one to watch out for. Looks like she won $8000 in MAO on essays alone last year. Maybe interview is where she shines who knows. Why you’re so mad about her win is beyond me. Is it the same reason you made a fake instagram account to comment about her introduction? I saw it and I was at the pageant. Never once did she say she was in law school. From what I heard she said she was continuing her schooling to become an attorney. She’s probably competing her cause she goes to school here. Idk where you have it twisted to attack this young woman she is so kind. And the way she spoke was fine, I met her after and she was losing her voice, ask her fellow candidates. Just cause you’re so mad your daughter didn’t win isn’t her problem. Get over it. This board is meant to discuss MAO but not tear the girls down in it. Are you just scared she might actually have a chance at Miss Ohio? Cause from what I’ve seen with her last title in NC she worked the hell out of it. So instead of tearing women down how about stop fixating on this woman and everything “wrong” about her.

[> [> Subject: Then you weren't there in 2013, where we endured a woman attempting to sing. She was absolutely drop dead gorgeous, performed so confidently, had the campy overdone Miss America performance with the raised arm and the 'I captured the sun' grasp at the end, and was the worst legitimate attempt at singing I think I've ever witnessed. Could not carry a tune to save her life. My very experienced in pageants friend and I immediately wrote her off. There was no way they could send that to Miss Ohio. Well, our jaws hit the floor when they did, and we knew then.

At state she danced, despite her never being trained. She got pts simply bc she was so beautiful on stage.
